𝑆𝐷𝑂 π·π‘–π‘›π‘Žπ‘”π‘Žπ‘‘ πΌπ‘ π‘™π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘π‘ , π‘Šβ„Žπ‘–π‘‘π‘’ π΅π‘’π‘Žπ‘β„Ž, π·π‘–π‘›π‘Žπ‘”π‘Žπ‘‘, π·π‘–π‘›π‘Žπ‘”π‘Žπ‘‘ πΌπ‘ π‘™π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘π‘ , π‘†π‘’π‘π‘‘π‘’π‘šπ‘π‘’π‘Ÿ 19, 2024 – The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Dinagat Islands under the leadership of the Schools Division Superintendent Florence E. Almaden, CESO VI, has been conferred a prestigious Certificate of Recognition by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for meeting the standards and indicators for Maturity Level 2 in Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP) as well as Performance Management (PM) on September 19, 2024 at SDO Dinagat Islands, Brgy. White Beach, Dinagat, Dinagat Islands. This recognition underscores the division’s dedication to excellence in human resource management and performance evaluation.

The award was conferred by CSC-Caraga Field Office Director II, Alan B. Besario, and Supervising Human Resource Specialist, Mr. Armel M. Odvina, to SDO Dinagat Islands leadership and personnel: Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Florence E. Almaden, CESO VI; Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) Dr. Bryan L. Arreo; Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Education Supervisor Dr. Lope C. Papeleras; Administrative Officer V Marvin P. Ebueza; Human Resource Management Officer Charmaine Rose D. Gulfo, and the entire SDO Dinagat Islands team.

In his welcome remarks, ASDS Dr. Bryan L. Arreo expressed how this distinction is a symbol of the collective efforts of all offices within the division. “This recognition is a testament to our shared commitment to excellence and to adhering to the highest standards of human resource management and performance evaluation,” he stated.

CSC Director II Alan B. Besario commended the leadership of SDS Almaden, acknowledging that it was under her guidance that the SDO Dinagat Islands finally attained this distinction. “It is a proud moment for the division, and I hope that, before the year ends, SDO Dinagat Islands will achieve the Bronze Award for PRIME-HRM,” Director Besario added.

In her acceptance speech, SDS Almaden expressed gratitude to CSC Caraga and emphasized the unity within the division that led to this achievement. Quoting a Bible verse, she said, “When the time is right, the Lord will surely make it happen,” reflecting her belief in divine timing. She also echoed Director Besario’s hopes for further recognition and thanked all personnel who worked tirelessly, particularly ASDS Arreo, the team leaders and members of the four (4) pillars, and the Admin and personnel sections, for their invaluable contributions in attaining this milestone.

The conferment of the Certificate of Recognition solidifies SDO Dinagat Islands’ standing as a division that upholds best practices in human resource management and is dedicated to continuous improvement. It marks a significant achievement in the division’s journey toward further distinctions, with aspirations for higher levels of recognition in the near future.
